My teaching interests are mass communication theories, journalism, media sociology, public relations and advertising. I established UMT’s Research and Reference Section to provide research facilities to the teachers as well as students. I have prepared course outlines of around 26 courses for an undergraduate program with their descriptions and reference books for the Mass Communication Department, University of the Gujarat. I had supervised the material development, designing and printing of all UMT publications.
I had been managing and organizing UMT admission and media campaigns including budgeting, designing, and placement for seven consecutive years. I have also supervised the design, content and deployment of the UMT Website including producing and directing UMT documentary films and contributed more than 30 articles / columns to leading national newspapers including the Daily Jang. I have served as Head, Media Advertising & Promotion Department at UMT.
