School of Media and Communication Studies organized an International Lecture titled "Future of Journalism: Challenges and Opportunities" on March 28, 2019, under the supervision of Prof. MugheesUddin Sheikh, Dean SMCS, UMT Lahore.
There were two sessions of the Lecture, in the First session, guest speaker Dr. David Bockino, Professor at Elon University, USA interviewed Prof. MugheesUddin Sheikh Dean SMCS and in the 2nd session Dr. David Bockino discussed the development of journalism curriculum in Pakistan and the influence of American education in journalism.
The lecture concluded with a Q&A session and then guests were served a traditional delicious Pakistani Cuisine.
