School of Media and Communication and Studies organized an International Lecture titled “Invisible Geographies: Interactive Documentary and Postcolonial Histographies” on March 25, 2019 in UMT.
Dean, Prof. Mugheesuddin Sheikh (SMCS) welcomed the guest in his opening remarks and shared few glimpses of future plans for School of Media and Communication Studies. The guest speaker Mr. Dale Hudson from New York University, Abu Dhabi highlighted the importance and capacity for interactive documentary to the students, which is loosely defined as nonfiction media that run on web or mobile platforms to activate “invisible geographies.”
In the end, Q & A session was opened for the students.
